    Costing Shreveport hundreds of jobs, in the month of April, The Verizon Wireless call center that is located over on Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, will surely be shutting down.

    Of the closure, that also will shut down call centers in Toledo, Ohio, as well as in Longview, Texas, and Virginia Beach, Va, employees had been notified on Wednesday.

    About the closure, there was no one at the Shreveport call center that was willing to comment. When it was that they had been asked for reaction toward the situation, refusing to say anything, were quite several employees.
