When you have countries or groups of people that are willing to do a good day of honest work for a lower pay than what you currently have available, and they are more than happy to do it, it only makes good business sense to make use of these factors. This news on the lay off of about 70 employees in the AT&T Mobility office would have been devastating to them, especially since most of them have been in the company for at least 4 years. This to me is a success story in how reeducation and retraining should be done. So many times education and employment "offices" tend to just be job boards with little advice on how to go about qualifying for grants for higher education. This office in Duluth is really on the right track and other employment offices across the country should take notice lest they find themselves out of a job!
